Celebrate the Pesquera Cheese Fair: Taste the best of Cantabria

An essential event for artisanal cheese lovers

The XXX edition of the Pesquera International Artisanal Cheese Fair will be held on August 14 and 15, becoming one of the most anticipated gastronomic events on the regional calendar. During these two days, the Cantabrian town of Pesquera will open its doors to 35 producers and 27 cheese dairies, 11 of them from Cantabria, so that visitors can enjoy a wide variety of excellent quality artisanal cheeses.

The fair offers a comprehensive program of activities that will allow attendees to learn in depth about the cheese-making process. Children's and adult workshops, tastings, and guided tastings will reveal the ins and outs of this product so typical of the region. In addition, there will be an environmental workshop in collaboration with the Cantabrian Network for Rural Development, and the awareness campaign 'Give a second life to packaging' on recycling will be developed.

The residents of the municipality are fully involved in the organization of this event, which has the support of the Ministry of Rural Development, Livestock, Fisheries and Food of the Government of Cantabria.
