A Story from the Past

About 20 years ago, we purchased the land in the foothills of the Istranca Mountains with different dreams. In September 2018, we decided to turn it into a lavender field. After an intense and rapid effort, we first went through the feasibility phase, then worked hard to prepare the soil for planting. We had to act quickly to avoid missing the planting season before the harsh winter conditions of the Istrancas set in.

Sustainable and Organic Farming Practices

On our farm, we practice sustainable and organic farming methods. We recognize that the soil is a living habitat for all living beings. We do not use synthetic chemicals on our farm, as we know that harming even a single cell in that soil would disrupt the system's cycle and break the chain. We harvest rainwater on our farm and use the collected rainwater for irrigation. We use the tree roots from our farm as solid fuel in our distillation facility. The lavender waste from our distillation facility is sent to a biogas plant as biofuel.

Natural Cosmetic Products

In our cosmetic products, we do not use synthetic chemicals, but only use organic, plant-based raw materials. We choose recycled packaging for our products. We are against animal testing, and our products do not contain any ingredients that could harm nature or any living being. We produce our own lavender oils in our own facility.

Lavender Harvest and Distillation Process

We start the lavender harvest around mid-July. We use a lavender harvesting machine to cut the lavender on our farm. The harvest period is the most hectic and exciting time for us, as we receive the reward for the whole year's work. This is also the busiest period for our distillation facility, which operates 24 hours a day for this 1-month period, serving other producers in our region as well.

A Unique Experience for Visitors

Starting from June 10th, we are pleased to welcome visitors to our farm. We will be waiting for you on our farm to leave a pleasant day in your memories and contribute to the education of girls. On our farm, you will find areas where you can take photos and enjoy your cold drinks. We have also prepared alternative tour programs for our tourist groups from outside the city, allowing them to visit different destinations.
