Our Origins: A Story of Passion for Red Fruits

For more than 30 years, Arándanos el Cierrón has been a benchmark in the cultivation and production of red fruits or berries in the Asturias region. Our story dates back to the 1980s, when we planted our first blueberry plot, becoming one of the first producers of this fruit in Spain.

Shortly after, in 1994, we created our own nursery and the agronomy consulting area, which has allowed us to advise producers around the world in the cultivation of berries. Today, our experts have participated in projects in countries such as Portugal, Morocco, Chile, the United States, Azerbaijan, and China.

Agriculture 4.0: Cultivating the Future Sustainably

Our farm is an example of Agriculture 4.0, a digital, precision, and environmentally friendly agriculture. We have opted for innovative cultivation techniques that allow us to drastically reduce the use of inputs and maximize the efficiency in the use of resources such as water and organic fertilizers.

Thanks to the sensor systems in our crops and the analysis of big data, we are able to precisely adjust the needs of each plant, thus optimizing our production processes. In this way, we guarantee a minimal water and carbon footprint, producing high-quality fruits in a sustainable manner.

Crop Diversity: From Blueberries to Mini Kiwis

On our farm, we cultivate a wide variety of red fruits and berries, among which our famous organic blueberries, recognized for their excellent flavor and nutritional properties, stand out.

But that's not all, we also produce an extensive range of mini kiwis or "kiwiños", a delicious fruit of Asian origin that is gaining more and more followers thanks to its delicate flavor and high antioxidant value. Our dwarf mini kiwi plants are ideal for growing in pots and terraces, becoming the perfect complement to any urban garden.
