Arándanos El Llano is a blueberry plantation in the municipality of Villaviciosa, Asturias, named after the El Llano plot where the first bushes were planted. The project was started by a newly graduated biologist who wanted to set up her own business and modernise farm work, and the plantation has since grown and added different blueberry varieties.
The fruit is grown by hand and naturally, without pesticides or chemicals. The blueberries are picked by hand every day, only when they are fully ripe, and shipped to homes across mainland Spain through the online shop. Besides fresh fruit, the farm sells jams made with blueberries and natural cider.
