Bacelos de Biobra

Bacelos de Biobra is a small family business in the hamlet of Biobra, in the Valdeorras district of Ourense, inside the Serra da Enciña da Lastra Natural Park. It works its own organic vineyards and sees its work as a way of caring for the land, with small-scale, sustainable production tied to the place.

The vineyards produce a natural organic wine made without sulphites, additives or filtration, with minimal intervention in the cellar. The pomace left over from winemaking is distilled into aguardiente and used for liqueurs, and the family also makes cream liqueurs with cane sugar, Fair Trade organic coffee and other local organic ingredients.
