Welcome to the Liendl Farm
A farm full of history and warmth
1920 - that was a memorable year. In America, Prohibition was declared, in Germany the first jazz record was released, and in Salzburg the Festival started. And in the idyllic Carinthia, at the Liendl farm, Maria and Johann Robas welcomed their first summer guests for the first time. Today, over 100 years later, the fourth generation is at the helm: Christina Scheriau, the great-granddaughter, runs the grassland operation with sheep farming. She is supported by her parents Sonja and Peter, as well as her partner Andreas and brother Johannes with his partner Barbara.
In the middle of nature - yet centrally located
The Liendl farm is nestled in a unique lake landscape. Just a stone's throw away is the Keutschacher See with its private beach. But the state capital Klagenfurt and the famous Wörthersee are also only 15 minutes by car. Around 70% of the municipal area is under nature protection - a vacation in its most natural form!
Experiences for the whole family
Whether it's children's fun on the playground, tractor rides, feeding the animals or pedal boating on the lake - boredom is guaranteed not to arise on the Liendl farm. The farm offers numerous opportunities for discovery, play and relaxation for young and old. And when the parents need a break, they can be pampered on the terrace of the "Café Sunseit'n" on the lakeshore.
Regional delicacies from the farm
The breakfast buffet offers homemade delicacies such as salami, ham, yogurt and fruit juices. Once a week, the family invites you to a convivial barbecue evening - with meat from their own farm, fresh vegetables from the garden and homemade salads. Those who want to can also prepare their meals in the fully equipped vacation apartment.
Sustainability with tradition
The Liendls place great importance on sustainability and tradition. They have been managing the farm, which now covers 32 hectares, for over 100 years. In addition to sheep farming, they rely on renewable energies and the preservation of the cultural landscape. In this way, they actively contribute to the protection of the unique nature around the Keutschacher See.
