A Serene Oasis of Lavender and Fruit Trees

Discover the Enchanting Story of Country Lavender and Orchard Farm

Since 2021, what started as a humble hobby has blossomed into a vibrant vision for John and Sandy Buchholz - to create a welcoming haven where people can immerse themselves in the captivating world of lavender. Nestled in the heart of Wisconsin, their family-owned farm is a testament to their passion for sustainable agriculture and their desire to share the rewarding benefits and beauty of lavender with visitors.

The Buchholz family's roots run deep in the local farming community. Growing up on dairy farms, John and Sandy have a profound appreciation for the land and the joy of cultivating the earth's bounty. In 2017, they planted a small orchard as a family project, delighting in the opportunity to share these rural experiences with their children and grandchildren.

Inspired by the calming essence of lavender, the Buchholzes expanded their vision and began their lavender journey in 2020. Today, their farm boasts an impressive 16 varieties of lavender plants, with plans to grow their collection to nearly 4,000 plants by 2025. Visitors can immerse themselves in the serene lavender fields, breathe in the soothing aroma, and gain a newfound appreciation for small-scale farm production.

Beyond the lavender, the farm is also home to a diverse array of fruit trees, including apples, cherries, Asian pears, and apricots. Guests can wander the orchards, witness the seasonal changes, and perhaps even indulge in a fresh-picked treat.
