Finca Turismo Faces: An Asturian Apple Oasis

Welcome to Finca Turismo Faces, where tradition and sustainability come together in a charming landscape of apple orchards.

This family farm, founded more than 20 years ago by the passionate farmer Mª Dolores Huerta, is a true treasure in the heart of Asturias. Here, on its 3 hectares divided into five plots (La Barrea, Eru, Monte, Iría and Faces), 24 different varieties of apples are cultivated, all of them protected under the prestigious Protected Designation of Origin (PDO) Sidra de Asturias.

The crown jewel of this farm is its exhibition collection, which houses the first 22 native cider apple varieties. During the guided tour, visitors can explore these apple orchards, enjoy a tasting of the exquisite local cider, and delight in a delicious "pinchín" (typical appetizer).

Finca Turismo Faces is a living example of the union between Asturian agricultural tradition and sustainable practices. Here, the harvest in odd years can exceed 30,000 kg, thanks to the careful management of their semi-dwarf and standard apple trees.

In addition to the guided tour, visitors can purchase other products from the garden, such as the famous fabes (beans) and seasonal fruits, to take a piece of Asturias home with them.
