Welcome to La Flor del Agua
A sensory experience among more than 500 rose varieties
Immerse yourself in a world of unique aromas, colors and flavors
In the heart of the Trubia valleys, in Asturias, La Flor del Agua blooms, an organic farm and edible rose garden founded by Mario K. Gigerl and Germán Montoya. For more than eight years, this multidisciplinary project has combined regenerative agriculture, environmental education, ethnobotany and bioconstruction, with the aim of demonstrating that it is possible to revitalize the rural environment through sustainable and creative practices.
A unique rose garden in Europe
With more than 500 rose varieties, many of them little known in the rest of the country, La Flor del Agua has become a floral laboratory for haute cuisine. Each rose has a unique aroma and fragrance, which can remind of violets, apples or mangoes. Some have been named after renowned chefs and pastry chefs, such as Jordi Roca or Evelin Wild, in honor of their contribution to floral cuisine.
From flower to palate: Taste of Love®
Under the Taste of Love® brand, the La Flor del Agua team produces gourmet products such as chutney, ketchup, syrup and rose jam, all 100% natural and without additives. These delicacies capture the essence of their roses and are designed to surprise the most discerning palates.
