Welcome to PAS Rural Coliving: A Paradise in the Pasiegos Valleys of Cantabria

An oasis of tranquility and connection with nature

Welcome to PAS Rural Coliving, a magical place where you can immerse yourself in the natural beauty of the Pasiegos Valleys of Cantabria, Spain. Located just 40 minutes from Santander, this privileged corner is the perfect home for those seeking a life and work experience in community, surrounded by mountains, rivers and a deep connection with the land.

Discover the history of the Pasiegos

The Pas River, which gives its name to our region and its inhabitants, the Pasiegos, is the thread that runs through this mountainous valley. For centuries, these transhumant livestock farmers built between 5 and 10 cabins, moving up to 20 times a year with their dairy cattle between the various pastures of different altitudes. Today, their legacy lives on in the traditional architecture, bridges, pools and the greenway that runs along the river.

A family with a passion for nature and community

Oscar, Lulu and their daughter Lucía are the hosts of this oasis. After years of nomadic life around the world, this couple of social entrepreneurs decided to return to Cantabria to create a space where they could share their love of nature and their commitment to building conscious communities.

Wooden cabins and a charming coworking space

Cozy and sustainable accommodation

PAS Rural Coliving has six wooden cabins that can accommodate up to 20 people. These welcoming dwellings offer private and shared rooms, with all the basics to make you feel at home: small kitchens, porches and a study to work on the days you prefer to do so from your own cabin.

A coworking space with mountain views

We have transformed an old garage into a bright coworking space, where you can enjoy high-speed internet, cables and network cards for a stable connection, even when we are all working at the same time. Open the doors and let yourself be enveloped by the natural light and the impressive landscapes of the Pasiegos Valleys.

Experiences to connect with nature and community

Community kitchen and organic garden

Every night, we gather to cook together, using fresh ingredients from our garden and saving the leftovers to feed the chickens. It's the perfect opportunity to create authentic relationships and enjoy a homemade meal in community.

Hiking, cycling and outdoor activities

Numerous mountain trails and natural parks await you for exciting routes and hikes. You can also enjoy the greenway that runs along the Pas River, ideal for cycling or running.

Contributing to social and sustainability projects

As a non-profit organization, we allocate the funds raised to the management of PAS Rural Coliving and to support our school construction projects in Ghana. We also offer opportunities for visitors to contribute their time and talent to these initiatives.
