Six River Farm

A Bountiful Harvest on the Shores of Merrymeeting Bay

Nestled along the picturesque banks of Merrymeeting Bay in Bowdoinham, Maine, Six River Farm is a vibrant, certified organic vegetable oasis. Owned and operated by Nate Drummond and Gabrielle Gosselin, this thriving 40-acre farm has been nourishing the local community with its diverse bounty since 2007.

Rooted in Community

The story of Six River Farm is one of perseverance, adaptation, and a deep connection to the land and its people. Nate and Gabrielle's journey began after college, when they left their desk jobs in New York City to immerse themselves in the world of organic farming. After apprenticing at a farm in New York, they set their sights on Maine, drawn to the fertile soil and vibrant farmers market scene in Bowdoinham.

Sustainable Stewardship

At the heart of Six River Farm's ethos is a deep commitment to sustainable, organic practices. Nate and Gabrielle have meticulously cultivated their land, utilizing regenerative techniques to enrich the soil and minimize environmental impact. From cover cropping and composting to integrated pest management, every aspect of their farming methods is designed to promote biodiversity and ecosystem health.
